Tissot Inspired Bustle Skirt

Bustle skirt inspired by Jacques Tissot using a Truly Victorian pattern as the base. On top of an eyelet cotton fabric I layered a pleated layer of silk shantung, three layers of gathered netted lace, and one layer of shirrng of silk on the bias. The apron swag is also the cotton base, trimmed in one layer of gathered netted lace and the shirred silk on the bias.
